‘Let the excellent moments roll’ at the Cajun Crawfish and New music Pageant in Jupiter

JUPITER, Fla. — The 4th Annual Cajun Crawfish & Music Competition returns to Abacoa celebrating the society and traditions of Louisiana via foods, tunes, cocktails, and dance hosted by New Orleans indigenous Virginia Sinicki host of The KVJ Demonstrate on 97.9 WRMF-FM.

Festival-goers will get a taste of “N’awlins” with genuine Cajun favorites like a Louisiana John’s crawfish boil, jambalaya, gumbo, po’ boys, gator tail, and beignets.

Voodoo Bayou’s Fried Gator Tail – Tender Gator Tail, Dredged in seasoned flour, deep-fried and tossed in a “Charred Lemon Aioli”, Pickled Peppers, Shaved Onion, and Parsley.
Gumbo- Southern Stew thickened using a "Roux" (Butter/Flour Mixture), ours has Chicken, Andouille Sausage, Shrimp & Okra, served with Carolina rice.

New this year is a Crawfish Taking in Contest on Saturday at 1 p.m. showcasing WPTV NewsChannel 5’s Jay Cashmere.

“Jay [Cashmere] is from New Orleans just like I am. And he reported he would be activity to get into the Crawfish Feeding on Contest. It truly is for pace. It is messy. The specialty drink of the competition will be a classic New Orleans Hurricane but Sinicki has extra a champagne twist.
